今日は、仕事の合間に気分転換も兼ねて、散歩がてらコーヒーショップに来ている。 窓の外は冬だけど、天気はよくて、店内は思っていたよりも暖かい。 コーヒーを飲みながら、 「もうそろそろ、またキャンプでもしようかな？」とか、 「ついでに次の日は、折り畳み自転車で湖の周りをサイクリングでもしようかな？」とか。 そんなことを、ぼんやり考えている。 仕事のことは、あまり関係のないことを考えている。

YOJIのアウトドアショップのリニューアルにあたり、「みんなのアウトドア基地誕生。」というコピーに込めた想いと、チラシ制作の記録。

I wonder who YOJI wants to welcome. Experienced hikers, or people just starting out. Probably, both. I’m thinking about what kind of world this place might create.

There is a bench by the shore of Ryujin Lake. On clear days, you can meet a beautiful sunset. Nothing special happens. Time simply moves along, quietly. I stop for a moment and look at the color of the sky. One of my favorite places.

I have a casual conversation with YOJI. So ordinary that I can’t even remember what we talked about. Only time had passed.

On a cold winter day, walking through a quiet time with very little sound. A small moment from everyday life in Kemono Town.

仕事始めの日は、スロースタートでいいと思っている。でもそれが自分に対する言い訳ということも自覚している。

Since it was New Year’s Day, I came to visit the Dragon God. There were many things I could have asked for. Work. The future. Whether things would turn out well or not. But today, I chose to share only my gratitude. The forest was quiet. The air was cold. Time felt like it was moving a little more slowly. I still don’t know what this year will bring. That’s all for today.

A Lunch Moment Today, I have pasta for lunch. Among noodles, I think pasta is my favorite. While lifting the noodles with a fork, that thought crosses my mind. Then I realize— I also like ramen.

Back home, I remember something that came to mind while walking. Not something that needs to take shape right away. Something that could be forgotten. I open my notebook and write it down, just a little. I’m not sure if I’ll look at it again. That’s all for today.

こんばんは。 ケモノ町のデザイナー、NICOです。 今日は、龍神池のほとりに来ています。 理由は特にありません。 ただ、なんとなく、静かな場所でボーッとしてみたくなったからです。 火を起こして、お湯を沸かし、コーヒーを淹れました。 今日はすごく寒いものの、風はなくおだやかで、ボーッとするには最高の日です。 焚き火を見ていると、 日々起きている出来事の断片が思い出され そのことについて、何となくいろいろと考えていると また、別のことが思い浮かび、 今度はそのことをいつの間にか考えている ・・・そんな感じで、どれも結論がないまま、ただ考えては通り過ぎていく・・・ という、時間の使い方をしていることに気づきます。 この時間が何の役に立つのかは分かりません。 でも、この考えているようで、結局何も考えていない みたいな時間の使い方が、焚き火を楽しむ醍醐味のように感じています。 結局今日も、答えを出さないまま帰るんだと思います。
