Enjoying a bonfire

Good evening.

I'm NICO, the designer of Kemono Town.

Today I'm at the edge of Ryujin Pond.

There's no particular reason.

I just felt like relaxing in a quiet place.

I started a fire, boiled water, and made coffee.

Although it's very cold today, there's no wind and it's calm, making it the perfect day to just relax.

Watching the bonfire brings back memories of the events that happen every day.

As I was thinking about this, another thought came to mind.

Before I know it, I'm thinking about it again...and I realize that I'm spending my time in this way, just thinking about it and letting it pass me by, without ever coming to a conclusion.

I don't know what this time is going to do.

But, even though I seem to be thinking, I'm not really thinking at all.

I feel that using your time in this way is the real joy of enjoying a bonfire.

In the end, I think I'll go home today without finding an answer.
